YeeeeeeeHaw!

I had a blast out on Nana & Pa's farm today! Pa and I even put on our hats in front of the Christmas tree. I'm so excited for my first Christmas! Just 5 more days to wait... and my stocking is already lumpy. I thought Santa filled those...?

We'll post more festive Christmas pictures later, but these will tide you over 'til then. Merry Christmas!

My First Thanksgiving!

I had the best Thanksgiving EVER! well, it's only my first one, but I have a feeling it'll be hard to top in the years to come. Daddy drove me and mommy all the way to San Francisco - over the snowy hills (my first snow!), thru the Valley of No Reception (at least that's what mommy kept saying: "No reception! still no reception!") and on to Uncle Ken & Aunt Tricia's new house. They live almost by the beach, so we took some really nice walks up and down the ocean - all the way up to the Cliff House one day! We even saw some of mommy's old friends while we were walking. I think they were named JanieSue and Snarky. I wanted to meet their whole family later that day, but mommy and daddy got lazy. and i fell asleep.

[If you want to see some really fun pictures from our trip, go look at Ken & Tricia's blog! There is a link over there - no - up over there... higher! up on the right... Your other right. There ya go.]

We got to go to Union Square, too, and see the big tall Christmas tree light up so bright! It was very beautiful. There were so many people! I felt like a pickle on the bottom of the jar. But Daddy held me up high so I could see everything.

I also got to ride in a swing for the first time! Uncle Ken & Aunt Tricia took me and Mommy to Golden Gate Park and we swinged and swang and swung. Then I licked the swing. It wasn't cold enough for my tongue to stick, thank goodness.

Grandma and Grandpa came up from Southern California to meet us. (They live IN Disneyland, I think! I'm pretty sure.) We had so much fun giggling at each other and making happy faces. Then we all ate a lot and slept a lot. I got to sleep in my friend Olive's crib at her house, too, and play with her toys. Maybe next time we visit, she'll be there and we can play. I'll be older then and much more fun. and plus by then I'll probably have a new cousin! You should SEE Aunt Tricia's tummy right now. It's all full up of baby.

Also we went to Mommy's old church and I got to meet some of her favorite people! They were really nice and most of them let me drool on them - except not the pastor.

I have to go, since actually I'm napping right now. shhhhh... don't tell. I'll write more again soon! Pees out! ~ Baby Jack.
