I'm 5 Months Old Now!

My, my how time flies. I kept bugging mommy to post some good stuff this past month, but she said she's still learning how to multi-task while multi-tasking. Speaking of ... this picture is me trying to sit up all by myself while drooling and giving my oral dissertation on the finer points of life in the 21st century as a middle class anglo infant.

We did SOoooo many fun things this month, I don't know where to begin. Daddy had to go to North Carolina for work, so mommy and I got in the Subaru and headed east to Idaho to visit my cousin Rose. We had a blast! and the road trip went by so fast. in fact I slept all the way to La Grande! Mommy said I probably would have slept all the way to Tahiti if she hadn't had to stop for gas. Maybe that's what everyone means when they say I'm an "easy baby." I guess I'll go ahead and take that as a compliment!

I started eating some yummy foods this month, too. In fact I just had to have a bath because mommy didn't like the green bean hat I made. I told her they looked really good on her, too! Green beans match mommy's eyes.

and I got my first tooth! it popped right thru this Wednesday. Grandma Waineo found it. (Grandma & Grandpa Waineo were here for a whole week! We had a BLAST!) My new tooth is really bumpy and fun to play with! It also makes me really drooly. but i didn't cry much. it just sort of popped out and surprised everyone. Pain Schmain, I say.

Also, I'm rolling around a lot now, so mommy and Grandma went and found me a really soft rug for my room so I can roll around and lay on the ground to play with my toys and mommy & daddy don't have to worry about me getting any nails from our old floor stuck anywhere they shouldn't be. or, y'know, any dog hair stuck on my everywheres. Besides, everyone is tired of carrying me around all the time! I weigh a TON!
