I have a New Baby Sister!

My new baby sister Lily was born on September 17th and she's already growing so fast! She doesn't do much yet except eat, sleep and cry and make dirty diapers. but she's pretty and I like to look at her sometimes. Mommy and Daddy look really old and sleepy all the time now. But they're happy, too, I can tell.

I'm Two!

I turned two yesterday and as of this morning my favorite words are "one, teeeooo, foah, figh... ah ah ah" (1, 2, 4, 5... ah ah ah) and my best new buddy is Tigger and my favorite toy is my new drill. I love doing construction. I even got to help Daddy build our new porch on the back of the house! Mommy is getting fat and I'm not sure why, but they keep saying "in September you'll understand" and "wouldn't you like a baby brother or a baby sister". All I know is, I don't fit in her lap quite as well any more. Maybe I'm growing, too!

New P.J.'s

Hooray for new pajamas! Mommy & Daddy found me these ultra neato p.j.'s and I love wearing them in the morning. They're too chilly to wear at nighttime, but very soft and cozy for playing in the living room. I gave Mommy my very best smiles, too!

The bummer news is that we lost our Christmas pictures, so I don't get to share any of those with you. Sorry. Mommy is sad and says it's her fault. She's probably right.

I'm still not talking much, but chattering up a storm and winking at my grandparents. It makes them laugh! We haven't got a picture of that yet, but I'll let you know when that happens.

umm... a mamminal?

Halloween is hard. especially when your parents buy a non-descript costume for you at Target. I'm a monkey? I'm a dog! no, maybe I'm a bear... no clue. maybe one of the above. the label said Monkey, but my ears are on top. my tail is too short... and no banana. but I'm not a bear -I have a dog tail. but I'm not a dog, cuz I have pink cheeks... so Mommy summed me up and said I'm a mamminal. what do YOU think? (and my cousin Seth is most definitely an 8-legged octopus. we counted.)

Okay - so I've had a close encounter with mother earth. Veeeeery close. In fact, I think I ate it just a little bit. Mommy took these pictures and I think I look SO COOL! I'm all boy, she says.

Daddy's been working on our back yard. We had to take out our big plum tree because a limb was hanging over the next door neighbor's property and it wasn't looking good to just cut it. So it's gone and we have a NEW tree called a Sugar Maple. It will be so fun to watch it grow!

I'm pretty much running circles around mommy and daddy right now and it's really fun! Sometimes I get dizzy and fall down on my bottom.

i LOVE my new haircut...

Okay - so - so much has happened since I turned 1, I'll just skip to the big deals.
1) My cousin Seth moved here last weekend! hooray! We'll be best buddies, I just know it.
2) I got my first haircut! now things aren't so sweaty on my neck and people will stop calling me pretty. maybe.
Also, I can push my truck with my own two feet on the ground and my bottom on the seat! It's so fun! AND I can walk all by myself now, so mommy has to go to bed at 7 just like me because she's all pooped out from following me around all the time.
